WorldSkills Champions Forum 2016

The WorldSkills Champions Forum was introduced at the General Assembly in 2006 as the WorldSkills Youth Forum. The Youth Forum was designed as a way for Champions to reengage and discuss the future of the Competition and other WorldSkills related initiatives in an open and creative environment. At the WSCF2014 23 Champions came together and presented the idea of forming the WorldSkills Champions Trust. The vision of the WSCT is to create a tool for Champions to engage with WorldSkills beyond the Competition. Since 2014, the WSCT has been formed and now has nine Champions working to increase engagement with our Champion community.

Recognizing that our diversity in skills, cultures, and experiences was our greatest asset. Our goal is to use the WSCF2016 to create ongoing projects that engage Champions, raise the profile of WorldSkills, and demonstrate the power of skills.

We're excited to announce the theme for the WorldSkills Champions Forum 2016 (WSCF2016). Champions Challenge will be an opportunity for Champions to come together and brainstorm project ideas within the WorldSkills Focus Areas to help improve our world through the power of skills. Throughout the week, Champions will be offered feedback from industry professionals to help further develop their ideas. At the end of the week Champions will present their ideas to a panel of organizations.
